OK so its only the second week of summer and i'm pretty much ready for it to be over. I am the Drill Team Captain for the riding club and so far it has been a very stressful experience. I have been working on a new horse for one which is fun and a little frustrating at the same time as he doesn't know practically anything compared to my old mare. Then there are issues with a girl on the team and I'm about ready to kick her off!!
Lets see.... state contests start on monday which should be pretty fun although i kinda dont want to go cuz melissa cant go now and everyone is going to be off doing their own thing, but i cant let the horse judging team down (even though they'd probably do ok without me) so i'll still go.
What else? Oh theres this kid austin works with, his name is Daniel and he is an awesome person lol. I've only talked to him a few times and already he thinks I'm pretty and told Austin he thought my eyes were amazingly gorgeous....Wow haha i feel so special.... i know I'm completely a dork, but it's been a while since a guy has liked me so i feel special leave me alone ;) anywho I had nothing else to do so i posted this nice little update so ya'll can see how things are goin!!!!

GRADUATION!!!!
My dorky brothers
OK so its been like two weeks since graduation and i'm finally posting this. Sorry we had no internet for the last two weeks and it has most definetely screwed up my schedule ( like signing up for college classes.) But now our internet is back up and running so i can get everything back on schedule. But back to graduation.... It was ok i guess. I didn't cry which was extremely surprising. Usually you know people say you feel kind of sad to be moving on but i'm really just excited to start on this new adventure!

Oh... what a spaz...yep thats me!
Thats my best friend! With her eyes open!!!
Look it's me! and the back of Pam's head (Pam is hoss's mom, and like my second LOL)
Ok so the banquet was on wednesday (i know im a little behind aunt jen, uncle moe, and girls!) I knew the whole week i was going to cry like a baby and guess what?! I didn't disappoint! I cried like a leaking faucet! I was fine until Goble gave me this award that basically means I was the best senior in the FFA program this year. That's when it all started, then when I went to induct little Kyle Hunt as the new 2009-2010 Secretary I had to try as hard as I could to speak legibly (spelling). Then afterward every time someone would hug me i cried! I think they were doing it on purpose! Oh and I had lots of people tell me I looked really pretty that night...weird people aren't usually pretty when they cry!? There was also this little old lady who came and gave me a hug and told me all about when we first moved here and i'd go over and talk to her all the time and she would pick me and my brothers up to take us to the bus stop. I couldn't even remember that! Yeah and I'm sure Pam got some pretty good pictures of me crying because that was one of her main missions for the night! Congrats to the new team! You guys will do amazing, and Mr. President Hoss better keep me informed about what goes on this year cuz I want to know too!

inside my head
I'm feelin'.... I'm not sure how I feel actually, I don't know how to describe it.... I'm having problems with lots of things right now and the stress and craziness of my life right now is leaving me exhausted and confused about everything. And... my days as FFA secretary are officially numbered... I have just two days left... I know for a fact I am going to bawl like a baby on banquet night...and I'm so anxious about graduating! I want to find a full time job this summer, but I haven't been able to find one... I'll probably end up working more hours at the store and more hours for the animal shelter. I'm so excited to start school at Snow in the fall. I'm kind of a little sad about leaving behind of my friends. I just don't know what to say I'm at a loss...I want to scream, I want to cry, I want to jump around and show everyone I'm ok, but I can't, I just can't. The face I put out to the world makes everyone think it's ok, but inside there is so much going on I'm not sure how to cope. Ok now that I've shown my depressing sad side... hope everyone is having a good day! I'll be posting pictures of the banquet in a few days.

Well....
Well I didn't make state officer for FFA :( It's a little sad, but at the same time I had so much fun running and met alot of new people! I got to do one interview Thursday then four on Friday. I packed four pairs of clothes... never most of them! I spent almost the whole time in official dress (FFA Jacket, skirt, high heels, nylons, scarf, white shirt) The only times i ever changed I can count on one hand! I changed into a swimming suit the first night and my pajamas, t-shirt and jeans for the dance and pajamas the second night, and that was it! But like I said I had tons of fun. The Nom. Com. people said they absolutely loved me but just didn't think I could do a state office. That's ok though cuz now that I think about it...I have a ton of stuff going on and this way I can concentrate on what is really important. Like paying for college, getting signed up for classes, working on the drill for the rodeo, starting on my show lambs so they will be ready for the show, possibly finding a full time job for the summer. So yeah convention was super fun and i don't regret running for state office, I have grown soooooo much from the experience!
